All Guilty

I was chatting with 2 of my very good friends recently and they both had the same complain about the extreme christians.

Now you may ask, who are extreme christians? Without mentioning names i would just describe. They are believers in Christ who believe that they have to go the extra mile to please God. To this I have no comments, judgments or queries however one interesting thing I picked from the discussion was the fact that we are all guilty.

These 2 friends maintained that extreme Christians were judgmental of people who do not believe in their doctrine. They underscored the fact that the extreme christians were not in anyway perfect than every other believer, however from our discussions I underscored the fact that they too were judging by stating that all extreme christians were sinners in private.

What worries me is the fact that christianity has been torn into the sides of those who maintain that they need to work to get their salvation and those who believe that Jesus has given believers freedom to do whatsoever it is they desire.

It is right and just not to judge one another. Let him that eats, not condemn him that does not and he does not eat, not condemn he that eats. There is only one worthy to Judge that that is he who died and fortunately he is interceding on behalf of us all.

In conclusion the book of Ecclesiastes 12: 13, 14 says Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandment: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work to judgment, with every secret thing whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
